The Earth’s beauty is unmatched by any other planet or star in the universe. You can not find another planet as perfect as the one that we live on. It gives the ability for humans to grow and thrive here. now you would think that with the given circumstances that people would work together to protect and preserve this wonderful planet that we only have one of right? Sadly thats not the case. We as humans have evolved so much to the point that we are unmatched by anytime of nature or its landscapes. The reason we need a college course like this is to remind us that this amazing planet it not infinite. Our world is no longer falling apart slowly because of our actions, its moving at a rate for descturtion faster then ever. these ideas can be called sustainability ideas and sustainable development. Sustainability has become a huge topic in todays conversations amongst those who plan on fixing the planet. So you might wonder what sustainability is right? Sustainability is the idea of you using the planet without producing longer term damage with chance of going to the point of no return.(Tata). What it means by that is that every time humans drill for oil , grow crops with chemicals, and throw waste into oceans we only hurt ourselves. We need to find ways to properly do all of things we do now but with out all of the consequences. So when you look at an ecosystem in any environment you see that it always has checks and balances.(Tata) Animals and plants keep those checks in order. So fro example if there is a large population of deer and there are wolves, the wolves will hunt the deer to keep the population down. But if the wolves hunt to many deer they might shrink the
