I am of the opinion that there has been a drastic change since the story on Susan Bordo regarding the issue of men catering for themselves regarding body appearance. According to Bordo, there is no significant problem with men having to view the revealing bodies of females in advertisement pictures and other sources. However, she goes ahead to say how it is strange for the same ladies to start viewing the revealing bodies of men in same advert materials. According to Susan, it is a taboo for men to have their bodies gets revealed in the advertisement materials. In my opinion, it is right in the society for the male individuals to have their bodies get exposed in the current society, as when compared to the period when Bordo was writing her work.
