Have you ever wondered about planets like the one in the move Avatars? You know, thought are there any planets similar to that one in our universe. Well in a way there are. You see, there are planets in our galaxy that astronomers have found that just might fit more of a realistic version of what you may have imaged. These planets are called Super-Earths and some of them may even be habitable. However, there hasn’t really been strong evidence of traces of life on these planets so far but scientists more or less just uses a specific method to test if life could stabilize itself there if liquid water could be a continuing presence because these planets are way too many light-years away for a human to successfully study. Of course, as mentioned earlier, one of the beginning stages of the evolution of Super-Earths is the magma ocean state. This is the young violent stage of the planet that is most likely caused by an abundant amount of energy in the form of heat impacting the Super-Earth. The next stage of the evolutionary process is the transitioning into plate tectonics after the planet cools down some and crystallize may occur. Furthermore plate tectonics is most-likely caused by the intense amount of heated stress under the possibly thin lithospheric plates of the Super-Earth. The planets then eventually over time will reach its state of stagnant lid or stagnant lid conviction, which occurs when a rigid lid will form over the convective layer because of a strong temperature dependent viscosity, but between the plate tectonic and stagnant lid stages these Super-Earths might even show signs of habitably. Also these, in a way, earthlike planets will always have different transitioning periods depending on their mass and may normally accrete FeNi metal as a solid. Speaking of habitably or habitableness, habitable zones indeed play a strong part in the habitableness of these Super-Earth planets. A habitable zones are where planets are at equilibrium with their environment.
