I felt inspired to try, and find the Central-Southern Province’s Vocation Director’s email. So, I sent him an email, and the next day he responded, and told me he was going to forward my email to Fr. Drew, the Vocation Coordinator. My journey to where I am today, was starting to materialize. After months of emailing Fr. Drew, I attended a Come and See event where I could see new novices enter, and novices take their first vows. That was tremendous experience, and I felt so near to God, when I was with the Jesuits. I told Fr. Drew, how I wanted to seriously pursue a vocation as a Jesuit. I also told Fr. Mark, the Vocation Director, my desire, and he told me that I needed to start having guidance from a spiritual director. I remember thinking, “What is a spiritual director, are they like the Yoda of prayer?” So, Fr. Drew put me in contact with Fr. Every day, I enjoy spending time with Jesus, and continue practicing prayer, thanks to Fr. Paul’s guidance. I love encountering the Father, when I practice my daily examines. And, I appreciate the life of the Holy Spirit gives me when I pray with Mary, St. Ignatius, St. Xavier, St. Faber, and St. Gonzaga. Day after day, my confidence, worries, thoughts, prayers, and movements of my spirit have been nurtured by the Holy Spirit, to where I can say with certainty that my life is to be a Jesuit; that the Lord wants me to travel with Him along the ways, and beauties that St. Ignatius discovered almost 500 years
