This short essay will focus on how social workers determine the effectiveness of their practice. Throughout this essay the main discussion will look at the methods, frameworks and key indicators that can be used to evaluate individual practice. I will also try to include some relevant examples where applicable in doing so. The case study throughout this essay, which I will further discuss in more detail will identify a particular case I have been involved in based on my work experience on student placement. I will be describing the key aims I was working to achieve, how I determined any of the observation I made, as well as reflections or implications for my future practice and my professional development as a future social worker.
