I have to make sure I find that balance because I would never want my children feeling like I don’t love or care for them, that would be heartbreaking. I have been brought up to believe that other than the unforeseen circumstances that happen and are beyond our control, we have to plan, and included in those plans, there should be a sense of moderation and balance. If I am a working mother, my priority is my family and my job, they fall into the same category. Nobody is perfect and sometimes I may fall short in some areas, but that does not necessarily mean I am a bad mother or a lazy worker. This stigma on working mothers and stay at home mothers has been placed upon us by feminists, men, and society at large. Everyone is going to have an opinion about whichever role I decide on taking, I can only hope that society can stop judging women who choose not to work or don’t want to work, and instead begin respecting women who have degrees and decide to pursue their careers, like
