My Road Trip

My grandfather always dreamt of taking a road trip to southern Albania because of its meraculous beaches and unique culture. Although, our family is from the north, we went ahead on taking this adventurous experience. On a early August morning my family and I woke up, got dressed, and went off on our dream adventure. The drive took place for about 8 hours, however, we stopped by many cities to sight see. About six hours later we arrived at our first destination, my great Aunt’s house. Her house was located in a tiny village about ten minutes away from the beach. As we waited for her to answer the door, we were anxious to see the reaction she would give when she sees us because she had no clue we were coming. As I heard foot steps arriving closer to the door, my aunt shouted “ I didn’t expect any company today the house is a mess.” When she opened her door we screamed surprise and her reaction was priceless. She cried from tears of joy because she hasn’t seen my family for so long. She rushed us inside then began making some antipasto …show more content…
The breakfast we received at the restaurant was problem the best I’ve had. Everything was fresh and delicious. My uncle, brother, cousin, and me then ran off to the beach and decided to go up a cliff to go cliff jumping. The beach was rocky but the water was something I’ve never see before. As we arrived on the of the cliff, although I felt pretty high up, I was able to see every fish and rock under water from how clear it was. After my uncle and brother made their jump, they were yelling at me and my cousin to jump next but we were really nervous and scared. We both kept pushing each other to go next but then I just decided to jump off.
