1. Capital punishment and racist decisions. ~
On a trial situation there are many parts that need to be focused. The prosecution and the defendants both have to be part of the jury selection. To make it fair there are many factors as to why the prosecution can dismiss a potential juror and why the defendant’s side can dismiss a potential juror. If a juror does have some connection to the case the juror can be dismissed. The main reason that a defendant’s side would want to dismiss a juror is if juror states they would want to push for capital punishment.

In Britain there are strict mandates when it comes to capital punishment. It is pretty much unheard in that part of the world. “Margaret Thatcher, Britain 's Prime Minister, supported capital punishment. The finality of capital punishment is not supported by an infallible system of justice. There is a serious risk that innocent people will be killed by the state”(Death, 2010).
