The Simpsons Civil Duties

There was once this family called the Simpsons and they were all born in America. There is the father, Homer Simpson, and he was born is Smithville, USA. He is bald and a little on the chubby side because he visits the pub a little too much. Next, the mother, Marge Simpson, is from Bushtown, USA. She has electric blue hair and she is slightly taller than her husband because her hair is a foot tall. She is slim and works out weekly. They have three children; Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Bart and Lisa are twins and they are very similar looking. Although they are similar looking, their personalities are very different. She looks like a mini version of her older sister, Lisa. This family is an average type of American family excluding the fact that they are all yellow for some unknown reason. Because they were all born in America, they are all automatically citizens of the United States. They don’t have to go through the tough process of becoming a naturalized citizen. But being an American citizen means that they have civil responsibilities and duties. Civil duties are things that Americans have to do like obey laws, pay taxes, and do Jury Duty. Civil responsibilities are things that Americans should do. The Simpsons practice these civil responsibilities in one way or another as should all Americans. Even though Homer is quite dumb and lazy, he uses this to his advantage. He likes to sit on his couch for hours watching the news about politics with his daughter, Maggie. He might not be smart, but he is politically informed which helps him make his political choices in elections or have smart political discussions with his wife, Marge. Homer is a Democrat while Marge is a Republican, so sometimes when they have a political discussion, it gets really heated because they are usually on opposing sides which amuses little
