PHRASE BALL GAME Phrase ball game is a game that helps you practice to speaking in the class, it is one of easy game for the teacher to do in the class, this game use small ball to play in the class. It can make every student try to make a small sentence and long sentence. According to Arisanawati using method of the game is the way used by teacher in presenting the lesson by creating a pleasant atmosphere, serious but relaxed with not ignore the lesson objectives to be achieve. Phrase ball game has recently become popular game to make students feel comfortable in the class. Phrase ball game is a good way to make students can speak a lot because it helps students try to remember words everyday and know the meaning of the words, it is has …show more content…
As people know that game always makes people happy same like students in this game, you will make your self always ready if the ball falls in front of student, make your self ready or not to speak but when the ball fall to student, student must answer and give your answer to them. It is like challenging to them because they must think something that other people never think about the sentence from a word that their friend said to them. Because of that when they are ready they always want the ball fall to them and they get the ball to answer it . Phrase ball game make student more confident in the class. This game makes students be confidence to share their opinion in front of all students, they will see this game always make every students have to said their opinion although it is wrong but they always try their best in front of student so it can make them more confidence because it can be habit do not shy to said something in wrong f their friend and try to be the best one in the class. Each of the strategies is to make students not feel boring in the class also how to make student become more interactive in the class one of the strategies is Phrase Ball Game. Phrase ball game has good impact to students also to the teacher to improve their speaking ability. Game method can be used to provide an exciting experience to students in understanding a concept that has been conceived, and can develop instrinsic motivation (2011:142) As we know that build an effective teaching and learning activity at the class is important to make students comfortable in the class. Phrase ball game is a good way to be applied for student in junior high school because it has benefit to make students become interactive in the class and improve their speaking
