Who am I kidding? my body was everything I didn 't want it to be. Fat, ugly, stupid were words I dealt with on a daily basis. If you ask me, it hurt more when it came from the boys. Every girl wants to be admired and put on a pedestal, and I was never that girl. I dieted, worked out, cried, and none of it worked. I was hurting myself for no reason. I just couldn 't see my beauty past my imperfections, and that in itself tainted my understanding of love in all ways. They say you surround yourself with who you are. That hit me in high school. I was surrounded by beauty. I finally realized that what I saw as hideous my whole life was actually just me. I have never looked back since. Love your body, cherish your body. My chubby cheeks, thick thighs, wide hips are pure love for me, and will be for someone out there.
We may have been led astray, but the truth cant hide for very long. The love and respect we give ourselves is all we have to give to other people. This blog is not to merely relate or entertain, but to motivate and show the world that you can do it, no matter what colour, size, shape, or sex you are.
