Every morning when waking up, is a new chance to make that day whatever it is desired to be. I always go into a new day with a positive attitude and hope for the best. One fresh start I experienced in 2016 was the opportunity to run cross country with 30 other amazing people. Another was when I won 2nd place in an essay contest. In the time period of my grandmother passing away, I received a fresh start that enabled me to smile for a while. The year of 2016 was filled with small fresh starts, but the most significant one I received did not come until the year of 2017 started when I wiped my slate
