It was something special to me and they knew it made me angry when they called me Jules. No matter how many times I asked them to stop, nicely and not so nicely asked, they continued. When Homecoming came around, they voted me on the Homecoming Court with the guy who argued with me the most. I did not mind so much because I was just excited to be on the court, even though I knew they voted for me as a joke and not because they thought I was worthy of being on the Court. As the year went on, I learned to ignore them and I started my passion for reading. I read the Divergent series and became obsessed with fandoms. I got to play in about three plays each game and was a “dummy” in practice. The position I played was Free Safety, which means that I did not have much contact. My family members supported me, but wished I was not playing. They worried I would get injured. After losing every game except our Homecoming game, I became a part of the play and musical. I was assistant stage manager and I was in charge of the curtain, props, and helping with last minute costume. Our play was A Family Reunion to Die For, a comedy murder mystery. We performed in
