Profit- It is essential for any business to “turn a profit”. If there is no profit then the business will eventually fail.
2. High Quality Products- The products and/or services that you offer should be of the highest quality. This ensures that you develop happy customers.
3. Loyal Customers- What is a business without customers? NOTHING! So, it is also essential for any business to attract and maintain customers. This is done by “taking care of them” and by listening to their wants and needs (demands).
4. Brand Awareness- Brand awareness is defined as the percentage of people who are aware of your brand, products or services, depending on what you sell. Brand awareness must be germane to your particular market. This is also a task that takes time. (Suttle & Demand Media, n.d.)
5. Social Contributions- It is equally important for any successful business to give back to the communities, especially to the ones in which they conduct business.

I judge customer satisfaction to be what sets one business apart from others and when achieving long-term sustainability, a business needs brand loyalty that will overpower their competitors. The core competencies of a corporate strategy should be focused on ensuring that the business entity can satisfy the needs and preferences of their customers. This stands as the main determinant in realizing above average returns especially in a highly competitive business environment. High quality service is more appealing and if a company portrays a low-cost image then people will be willing to pay a few more dollars for premium service.…

Healthcare is always changing and every day has its new problems and obstacles. Spaeth talks about having a mentor and mentee program to educate future growing executives. This is crucial because when a system is working, keeping the same structure is beneficial to the healthcare system and the employees. Continuing education is also important because Ronald mentions that finance knowledge is helpful. “Those entering the field now should possess sufficient financial acumen so that they do not have to learn finance on the job (“Interview,” 2005).”…

The term “small business” is a term that is often related to “mom & pop” shops, but what people don’t realize is that small businesses make up more than 99.7% of all employers (Hatten, 2012). In the service industry alone more than 71% of companies are small businesses. As it is true that most “mom & pop” shops are small businesses, some are just people who are self-employed, and some are entrepreneurs. Self-employed people can be entrepreneurs just as small business owners can, the difference between the two would “be the desire and ability for growth,” (Shelton, 2013). Small businesses make up a large portion of the revenue that goes into a community.…

Interning at private and public practices, learning about insurance billing systems, I saw how the U.S healthcare…

Making a profit is the main objective for any business, and to reach this profit and being able to be always in profitability mode, we should think about many aspects like: the regular revenue that we are looking to get it to reach our objectives, risks that may arise during our business life, and the level of liquidity that will practise to make or invest in any kind of commerce. Buying shares is one kind of investment, for that in our case of questioning ourselves before investing in Gas Co. or Zircon Co. any professional analysis should consider the three aspects that mentioned above, not only looking for the high return of the share, nevertheless the most important aspect is to think about the riskiness of investing in such company as mentioned in the case, the risk rating in Gas co. is AAA which is the best rate rather than BB- in Zircon Co. And the question about liquidity for buying shares should be asked as follow: do we have enough money to buy the number of shares we want and need or not: as in this case the price of per share is $16 in Gas co. or the cheapest price of $8 in Zircon co.? The choice would be for the Gas Co. not only because of the high return of the share by $0.32 whereas the return of the Zircon co. share is $0.16, but because the risk rating in Gas co. AAA is healthier than the Zircon Co BB-.…
