What Are Mark Zuckerberg's Mistakes

Mark Zuckerberg became aspired to create this addicting, yet powerful social media network to connect people all around the world due to his love of programming and technology. Facebook was intended to connect Harvard students, until it spread to other campus’s, being used by people of all ages. As Zuckerberg created program site’s for entertainment, people became more active with them and started to connect with people outside of their norm. Mark Zuckerberg is one of the most influential and inspiring people to the younger generation due to his immense donations to charity, his overall baseline creation of social media, and by exemplifying that everyone, like himself, can learn from their mistakes.

Mark Zuckerberg made the mistake of creating FaceMash because he was publicly asserting photos onto the internet without permission, and the website crashed instantly as it became overused by Harvard students. The creation of FaceMash was not only setting the basis for the invention of Facebook, but he also learned from the mistakes of publicly abusing photos without permission. Following the FaceMash internet crash and accusation of public photos, Zuckerberg began coding a new website called “theFacebook.com,” which led to Harvard students accusing him of stealing their ideas when he was working with them to create the website, HarvardConnection.com. A lawsuit was called upon Zuckerberg’s misleading promises, and an agreement was settled between Mark and the three students.
