With so many desktop computers in the market today, making a decision on what to buy seems to be getting harder and harder. But the truth that the Mac is the best over its competitor the PC is clearly exemplified in many ways within the computer world. When you break it down, two major manufacturers stand in a class of their own: Microsoft’s Windows with PC’s and Apple with their Mac’s. Each individual may have a different perspective on why one should own a Mac over a PC and that perspective varies depending on personal interest. They’ve been innovators since the time the company was founded in 1984. Design companies all over the world highly use the Macintosh for their easy interface. The Mac OS is very easy to use and not confusing in any way. PC’s at contrast are complex and hard for the average consumer who isn’t familiar with technology. Apple is also known for providing the best in customer satisfaction. Apple has won in several occasions the JD Power award for great Customer Service. Thus, customers are able to get an ultimate support from their computers when in need of assistance and on spot support at any of the apple store locations at “Genius Bar”. Since PC’s are manufactured by different manufacturers, each PC consumer finds themselves having to warranty their problems over the phone through customer care if they are a Dell customer or somewhere else for every other PC manufacturer while you can get on the spot help with the Mac. Also, Macs are able to run two operating systems: both the Windows and the Mac. This allows the Mac to be extremely versatile allowing consumers to experience both a PC and a Mac all in their one machine. This efficiently gives consumers a better opportunity to experience both OS by having the best of both worlds. This allows the consumer to use the computer for business practices under the Windows operating system and they can also use the Mac for all other
