Similar to what is mentioned above, history helps us improve our lives by improvement we made for it today. That causes people who do not fall into the same problems usually come out with a better outcome. “The man who is swimming against the stream knows the strength of it”, said Woodrow Wilson. Only those who have been through difficult times knew arduous nature of the risks, dangers and difficulties of harsh experience in the past. Since then they had many new experiences to overcome it. We basically understand success is just around the corner if we know how to avoid failure. It is a lot easy to achieve success if we know what to look out for. Once we know how to find out, what to look for and where it was from, we will have a better chance at improve our lives. You know there are many individuals who are having difficulties in becoming successful because they did not learn from history and keep repeating the same mistakes. “Those who don’t know history are destined to repeat,” said by Edmund Burke. Ever wonder why you are always good at something the second chance? That because you have already know what made error last time, and you can avoid and you knew what need to be done to get better result on your next try. Because history is written to serve as a reminder of who were the movers and shakers of the past. People who were significantly important to the discovery or development of something we enjoy today are commonly mentioned and honored in our history. Without history, it’s impossible to recognize, honor, and pay respect to the ones who’ve made leaps and bounds of improvements to the betterment of our society. In fact, we would never get the peace of life today if we did not have many brave soldiers who were sacrificed their life in these wars for this beautiful world. We should never get the fair society as today if we did not have strong and brave people who protest for human rights, civil rights, voices and independent in history. Nobody will be able to recognize the greatest contributors to an invention if we haven’t learned about them in history. We can never find out who invented the light bulb, cars, computers, and anything that makes our lives a lot better if we don’t have historians’ documents which recorded everything in the past for us to learn
