Defining a leader
The mission to carry out a considerable quantity of evaluations and hypothetical discussions to encounter specific styles or features inclined towards a lucrative approach to implement leadership styles in an organization (Oliver, 2006). As stated by Adair in the year 1998, learning from theories does not make an individual a successful leader, however, his own will and personal motivation leads him to become a successful leader and get your hands on the expertise firmly (Adair , 1998).
A leader incorporates the capabilities to illustrate the attitude and performance in a way that have an immense impact on the fellow affiliates who work with him in the confined surroundings (Oliver, 2006).

Previously, it was frequently pursued by the models of leadership within an organization where the leaders get the chance to depict their eminent qualities and skills of leadership as a part of their role as an effective leader (Department of Health, 2005).
In the past times, leadership was merely considered as the role played by a manager (Burns, 1978). This perception has now changed and it states that the leaders are considered and identified or appointed from a specific group of people who have to perform a particular task, although it is not necessary that the appointed individual is an acclaimed authority in the same organization (Oliver, 2006). Therefore, any one out of the group who directs and guides the group or the team throughout is considered and identified as a leader (Department of Health, 2000; Burns, 1978).
A clinician must incorporate the expertise and skills to manage the styles of leadership in all circumstances (Oliver, 2006). A clinician should maintain the abilities to lead the entire personnel and guide them to take appropriate decisions and implement the approach to take care of the patients focusing on the basic needs of the patients (Burns, 1978).
