“You know jungle juice,” Adil said, after not getting a reaction out of Michael. “They get a large container and fill it with some cheap juice or fruit punch, then pour a bottle of this stuff in it. Gets the whole room lit up for like twenty bucks. It’s the only way people can handle this stuff.” Michael picked up the bottle and spun off the cap. He then took a long belt from it with not so much as even flinching. “Whoa,” Adil said, astonished. “I guess a big guy like you does need to water it down, huh?” “Evan Dunlap,” Michael responded, with a voice so heavy and powerful that it shook Adil to his core. “E-Evan Dunlap?” Adil asked bewildered. “Where?” Michael asked. “I… I… don’t know no any, Evan Dunlap.” Michael reached out and grabbed …show more content…
“I don’t know where Evan is, honest,” he said holding up his hands for mercy. “But I might know where you can find him. He’s a regular down at The Pussy Corps, a stripe club just up the street. He’s got a real hard-on for one of the girls who work there. Some stripper name Misty. You should look for him there, but I heard something happened there today, a fight or something, somebody got stabbed.” Michael took another swig of the vodka and then placed the bottle back on the counter before holding up his right hand before Adil. With a flicker of his thumb, fire erupted from the match he had tucked away in his palm. “Hey, hey, man, what are you doing?” Adil shouted. “I did what you asked. I told you everything I knew about Evan. Come on, man. Why are you gonna do this, man?” he cried. “To save your soul,” Michael said, and then snapped to the burning match at Adil’s chest which instantly erupted in flames. Adil screamed in agony as his flesh became engulfed with orange and bluish flames. With the intense heat searing his skin, he began thrashing around behind the counter knocking bottles of liquor off the shelves in his …show more content…
What can I do to help?” Angela said. “Mama?” Liam whined. “Not now, honey. Mama needs to help Evan, sweetheart.” “Mama, look,” Liam said. Angela looked out the windshield to see the house now looming before them. Evan pulled up barely able to get the Pontiac stopped and placed in park, his grimace showing his agony. Immediately, Angela shot out of the car running over to Evan’s side and pulling the door open. Evan tumbled out onto the ground clutching his abdomen. He was wincing and wrought up in anguish, sounds of pain uttered from his mouth. Angela bent down trying to help him up to his feet. “My god, Evan, we got to get you inside and call an ambulance,” Angela panicked. Evan tried desperately to get himself off the ground and ended up vomiting in the process. “Wait here,” Angela told him before running off to the house’s front door. “Hello! Hellooo! Is anybody home?” Angela shouted as she continually rang the bell and then began banging on the door with her open hand. Lights turned on, one at first and then more. A moment later, a very sleepy but boyish looking man answered the door. “Yeah, who is it? What is it? What’s going on out here?” he said
