Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder affects 1 of 20 children in the world. Because of the impact of this mental disorder, and how it affects school age children. Then the family discovers that their child has ADHD. They start to wonder why their child has it. So they start researching what the cause are they come to terms that their child has ADHD. They try and seek medical help so that their child can live a normal life. If the child starts medication then they are mostly calm throughout the day. When they start school the parents start getting phone call from their child teacher. That their child is not behaving and is having trouble in school. Which creates a conflict and turns the siblings against their brother or sister. The parents try and sit done with their child when doing homework so that they will get it done without them getting distracted. When having a child with ADHD the parents also have to think about how they are going to get help from the school so that their child get the best education while being safe. Because if their child is not safe then there is going to be a problem. But if the child can’t handle being in school. Then one of the parents will have to home school the child so that they get as much education as needed. The family has its ups and downs when trying to deal with their child’s learning disability. Although the child does try and be calm they just can’t because they just get these sudden urges to move around or speaking when they are not supposed
