Although the internet has played a significant role in the feminist movement, personally I do not believe we are in a fourth wave of feminism. The utilization of the internet during the feminist movement is enough to emphasize the Third Wave of feminism but not enough to transition society from it into a new wave. During the Third Wave of Feminism, feminists have encouraged acceptance of people regardless of their gender and race as well as encouraged the participation to end the objectification of women and double standards. In one effort to counter double standards, the organization known as, #BanBossy works to empower women and girls to achieve their ambitions without fear of being called “bossy”. People who buy products that are made for a specific purpose expect that the product will fulfill their wants and needs. They do not want to spend money on something that will not be beneficial to them or be worth the money that they have spent on it. Think about how upset you are when you long anticipate a new product coming out; especially if it is marketed for a long time before it is actually available to the general public. Between the two assessments, I found the Jung Typology test to be much clearer and more accurate. The DISC assessment contradicted itself on more than one point, and opposed some of what I learned in the Jung Typology test. Upon review of the DISC assessment, I read that I had low Decisiveness, which meant that I solved familiar problems quickly, but when placed with an unfamiliar conflict, I struggled and approached it in a “calculated and deliberate manner.” To some extent, I feel that this is true of anyone.
