Into The Wild Movie Vs Movie

Not everything you see in the movies is real? A common saying that is passed on from time to time. Do you remember staying up all night from watching that scary movie you weren’t supposed to watch, and later realizing that the monster in the movie is not real. Well sometimes it’s hard to realize this and making the initiative to check under your bed doesn’t hurt. Recently I have read a book called “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer and later on saw the Movie too, which was directed by Sean Penn, both categories were really good in their aspects but like one another each has their similarities and differences. Not to mention, I’m here to talk to you about them both and tell you which I prefer better.

On the other hand, the movie is narrated by Chris’s sister (Carine McCandless) and his perspective. Chris McCandless in the book is portrayed as abrasive, where he rants against authority when confronted, for example in Chapter one when Jim Gallien, asked McCandless whether he had a hunting license, he responded with “Hell no,” “How I feed myself is none of the government’s businesses. F**k their stupid rules.” With this response alone he is shown as vile and bitter. Whereas in the movie, McCandless is relaxed and tolerant, for example when confronted with obstacles McCandless finds a way around it and continues on with his journey like when his car the yellow Datsun breaks down near the edge of a dry riverbed, due to a flash flood and as a result, he packs up his things, takes & hides his car’s license plate, burns all his money and continues to hike. In addition, when he wanted to raft down the Colorado river, he faces a roadblock and gets informed that he needed a permit to do so, but he later finds a way around it and continues on. Furthermore, in chapter eight and nine in the book, it details stories of other people just like Chris McCandless who went into the wild and never
