Emerson once wrote "Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind." He was the leader of an individualist movement called transcendentalism. It was more of an intellectual movement in New England. The first people involved were spiritually inclined young men. They were often ministers from rich New England families. You would be free to have sex or love anyone who would consent to the interaction. People would be able to only own the land that they live on and occupy. There wouldn't be any type of landlords or rent for where you were living, no types of zoning regulations which interfere with housing or other social activities. If people would have been able to do this there freedom to live as they please would increase and there would be no type of housing shortages or involuntary
