Challenges of HRM
People are regularly a company´s most important resource and also one which tends to need the most complex care. For that there is the human resource management ensuring all company´s employees work under conditions which maximize their efficiency while also achieving their personal goals.
This essay will discuss two situations and challenges which happens in companies and are directly linked to HRM, ending those with solutions and conclusions.

Employees feeling happy and secure in their jobs rarely leave those even if having a higher reward offer from another company.
It is essential for companies to choose right people for right positions, the more as the cost of replacing employees can outweight the cost of keeping the current ones through having them satisfied with their jobs. Still not only recruitment interviews are essential but also those exit ones as company should be interested in how leaving employees felt about their job and/or why they are leaving. An equal opportunity approach means identifying groups or individuals disadvantaged in some way and seek correction while its more like about equality of opportunity than about equality of achievement. HRM can positively encourage people into overcoming discrimination (Martin, 2009). Such a management can ensure an equal opportunity approach while having the equality legislation just as the basic stone to build on as when compared to the complexity of implementing that into business it provides just the most basic rules. Generally used HR policies need to be supported with additional ones which ensure that enough of minority workers are hired to prevent their isolation while providing them with resources like training or information to make it possible for them to enter a work group as equals (Greene, 2010).
