College Student Cost

First grade through twelfth grade students have always been provided with textbooks to help with their subjects. College on the other hand does not provide students with textbooks that are essential in passing in college class. Buying textbooks just adds to the already expensive cost that comes with going to college. Tuition, living costs, and many other expenses, are what college students have to look forward to. The debate on lowering the cost on college expenses has been an uphill battle for years now, but the prices of colleges has gone up instead of down. College students may not have the capability or have reached the maturity level to keep up with a textbook for a whole semester. Sadly the cost rarely goes down and when it does it is barely noticeable. Every student who goes to college will apply for scholarships and student loans. But tuition and the other expenses that come with going to college is not the only thing that students must buy. The necessities of living on campus as a college student are school supplies, dorm room supplies and your basic everyday things. The amount of money spent on college students alone is unimaginable and highly expensive. Textbooks are essential to passing any college course, buying books alone can cost up to thousand dollars. Barnes and Noble have recently started renting out textbooks for a period of time and you can renew but that still cost money and Barnes and Noble does not have an endless supply of textbooks, so when going to rent a textbook it might be too late. Ever since first grade textbooks were provided for the students. Why stop in college? Some critics feel that by providing textbooks for students the price of college would rise and it would not be in the favor of the students. Critics feel that they are helping the students in this way. College professors and critics are very intelligent people who can solve problems and work together. They need to all get together and come up with a solution on how to provide college students with textbooks and not raise the price of college. They need to trust that the students are capable of keeping up with the textbooks and that they will take good care of them. Professors need to get together and figure out a system on how to keep the textbooks in order and hand them out and keep up with them neatly and efficiently. College students need to make their voices heard on the topic, get a movement started and get things changed for the
