January 7th started as a normal day for my parents. That day my dad George had to be at work early in the morning so they got up around 4 that morning. George my brother who was 1 and 1/2 at the time went over to a friend’s before my dad headed to work. My mother Jessica wasn 't due for another 15 days, so she was doing her normal morning routine when unexpectedly her water-broke. She called my father and told him, and he rushed and came and got her and went to the hospital the same one my brother was born at. On the way to the hospital, my mother then called my Aunt Ronda, who met them at the hospital. When we got to Baycoast Medical Center in Baytown, Texas, they got my doctor, Dr. James C. Hofman, who also delivered my brother and not …show more content…
In 1999 Mark McGwire’s set an all time record, he hit his 70th home run in one season that ball went for $3 million on January 12 ("Chronology of Sports (1999).”). That same year after 13 years of playing for the NBA Michael Jordan announced that he was retiring from basketball for the second time ("Chronology of Sports (1999).”). The year I was born the Denver Broncos won the super Bowl which is funny because growing up my dad was big Broncos fan and tell I decided to go my own way I was a broncos fan as well. That year the New York Yankees won the World Series, San Antonio won the NBA Championship and Connecticut won against the Ducks at the NCAA men’s basketball championship ("News and Events of 1999.”). Fashion is a big deal today and has been for many years. In 1999 women fitted tops over tank tops or t-shirts with jeans. For sporting wear women wanted to spice up their look with accessories. They wore glittering hair ornaments and jewelry and carried bright colored handbags. At this time am band and bracelets made a big comeback ("Fashion in the 1990s.”). In 1999 the big hair cut was called “Rachel Cut” this hair style was named after Jennifer Aniston off of Friends when it hit its peak. Men had their own hair style they would wear zig zags and nike tricks shaved into the hair ("90’s …show more content…
Only 10 months after I was born my little sister was born. We moved to Kansas a year after I was born, because me and my brother were having breathing problems. My family lived in 3 houses before my dad and mom divorced. My mother then left for Oklahoma and us kids stayed with my dad. For three or four years my dad was single, then he met my step mom, Kelly. Few months later after living in two houses my dad and Kelly got married. Kelly had two kids of her own A.J. and Ashley. My mom got married the year my parents split and she got divorced in 2009. In 2010 my mom had a kid, Jasmine,with her new boyfriend
