Is Socialism better than Capitalism?
Two ideologies have been having a conflict over the years. For many centuries, people have been asking; “Which one should the government have in hand?” Which one will work for society” Those two ideologies are Capitalism and Socialism. These two having been competing each other claiming that their ideas are suitable for the world. In another word, the way the world should be governed. For example we look at UK. The Conservative party (Capitalism) and Labour party (Socialism). In my opinion, I believe that Capitalism is better than Socialism.
“What is Capitalism?” Capitalism is a political form that states: `All means of production, are owned by the people (private property). For ex; private school. So it’s basically saying everything you earn, you can keep possession of it. Secondly, “What is Socialism?” …show more content…
They have always given peace to society. An example of a great Capitalist government was Abraham Lincoln’s. While he was in government, he promoted Patriotism which means nationalism and loyalty. That’s why Capitalism is so peaceful. If the government can allow private property, fair economic and peace, why should people vacillate under Capitalism? On the other hand, Socialism has been nothing but sorrow for those people living under it. We look at the Soviet Union and China, which proves Socialism will probably not work in the future. The Soviet Union proved to be a catastrophe for those who were under the tyrannical government of Vladimir Lenin. He was the first Socialist government. Under his reign, many people died which was a tragedy to the beautiful cultural history of Russia. After him, another leader came who name was Joseph Stalin. He was far more brutal than Lenin. How an earth will Socialism promote peace if they keep spreading this ruthless idea towards the people? For those who follow it, it will never
