Importance Of Hand Washing

Register to read the introduction… It is the first defense in line against all bacteria and infection. Many studies have shown that females tend to wash their hands more then males do. According to Borchgrevink, Cha, and Kim, (2013) they “found that 58% of female students and 48% of male students washed their bands after using the restroom, although only 28% of the female students and 8% of the male students used soap” (p.19). Healthcare professionals need to take a vow and practice proper hand washing in their professions as well as in their personal life. Educating the rest of the world on how easy this simple and quick technique is can prevent many germs and diseases from being spread and therefore creating a better and cleaner environment for us all.
