Gravity Movie Analysis

Gravity is a motion picture about survival in space. Sandra Bullock’s character is Dr. Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her very first shuttle mission. In her first shuttle mission, she is accompanied by retiring astronaut Matt Kowalski, who is played by actor George Clooney. The worst is to come when a debris from a Russian anti-satellite missile hits their space shuttle, soon the pair gets themselves withdrew from their shuttle and stranded in space with no connection to earth or rescue. As Stone is stranded in the abysses of space, she is faced by her difficult past that makes her considered surrendering all out.

However, Interstellar had an unforgettable moment of visuals and cinematics. That unforgettable cinematic was the ‘Tesseract’ scene. In the Tesseract scene, McConaughey enters the end of the black hole into the fifth dimension. Once his entrance to the fifth dimension, he is able to see his daughter from the past. Unable to directly communicate with her, he begins to communicate through the book shelf using binary code and gravity.The scene exhibits his daughter library in an infinite loop, each consistent of her past, present, and future time
