Introduction This critique paper is about the Policy on Good Governance and the Rule of Law, Chapter 7 of the Philippine Development Plan 2011-2016 of the Aquino Administration, published by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). The Policy on Good Governance and the Rule of Law tells on how the Aquino Administration addressed the needs and rights of every Filipino citizens including the importance of having an open, efficient, transparent, and accountable government that will paved the way to a better-administered and corruption-free country. The country's seventeen (17) regions such as the National Capital Region (NCR) and the Davao Region (Region XI), actively participate in this system. Likewise, news regarding Weather; Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW); World, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); National Government, Local Government; and, Civil Society, could instantly be fed into every individual's account in the social networking sites, such as Facebook and twitter, that is, for further dissemination of information to the public. Since the online Philippine Information Agency (PIA) is informational; updated; news, issues, and events were classified; websites of National Government Agencies (NGAs) were provided for quick links; and, concerned citizens were given the opportunity to report and send their queries, feedback, complaints, views and opinions in relation to some issues such as the performance of a particular government agency and/or its officials and employees, hence, the researcher expresses its highly appreciation to this type of system for public information. However, it could be more systematic if all government websites were enumerated and arranged accordingly similar to the arrangement of the Commission on Audit (COA) as can be viewed in its portal.
