The Importance Of Going Green

The Earth, the largest ecosystem ever recognized, having billions of living and non-living organism co-habiting and interacting with one another as a system. Out of the entire organism involved in preserving our ecosystem one particular species has been more engross with the environment than others; the human species. The relationship between humans and the environment has mostly been a one sided gain for humans. Even though some people think humans have tried in their own effort of keeping the environment clean and sustainable under the global movement of going and keeping the environment green others feel human effort of going green hasn’t really depicted the notion of going “GREEN”. The fast use of natural resources, rapid dispersal of pollutants in the atmosphere, and improper disposal of hazardous material hasn’t portrayed our devotion to go GREEN but rather shows our lack of concern and tendency to look the other way when it comes to us gaining from the environment.

Automobiles are one of the single largest sources of air pollution on earth today, and the harmful gases released contribute to global warming and climate changes. Rather than having everyone in an entire house hold owning a car, we can encourage each other to be more flexible, take public transport (such as buses and trains), you are actually helping to reduce the number of automobiles on this earth, and hence the amount of air pollution produced by these vehicles.
