As we grow up, we start learning that different creatures that we loved and feared, like Santa Claus or the monster that lived under our bed, don’t actually exist. However, the only thing they don’t really tell us is that the ones you fear the most are actually real. Ghost and Spirits are common topics among society. Some encounters can be pleasant, but most of them are so terrifying that they can be hard to believe for those who are skeptical. People may doubt the existence of ghosts and spirits, but there is enough evidence that proves that these paranormal creatures do exist. Ghost and Spirit stories have been around for a very long period of time. So for people who claim that they are not real and are just a product of really good marketing for scary movies, or a “trend”, this is the first reason why they actually exist. The first ghost sighting was written by a recognized Roman author and statesman Pliny the Younger, in the first century A.D. (History Staff). His stories were widely recognized because of its details while talking about how an old man with chains, was haunting his house (History Staff). Right now, it …show more content…
However, there are both good and bad spirits and ghosts. There are ghosts who are sent to do bad, which are known as demonic ghosts or spirits, and there are some that come to help us or maybe a loved one who is saying their last goodbye (bfhu). The evil spirits are normally not human, but demons, and dark spirits are those who were humans but bad when they were alive or didn’t have a relationship with God (Wings for the Spirit). A way to determine whether they are good or bad ghosts and spirits, is by the way they make you feel. If you feel frightened, cold, or uneasy, it is probably an evil spirit (Wings for the Spirit).
