Going to college is neither cheap or easy. So for the majority of students one has to work and go to school. With school being a full time job any extra commitments may seem impossible. So in order to balance school and work effectively one has to be dedicated to what they are doing. To be a successful college student a weekly to do list and schedule must be written and kept. Planning a week is easy but sticking to that plan is the hard part. Many college students struggle with saying no on a busy night when they have many things that they must do that week. A trip to McDonalds can end up with a student’s entire night gone. So, a half hour break needs to be a half hour break. Wasting time is not something that a student can get away with. When students have class till three and work at five those two hours can very easy to lose track of. It may be easy to get distracted but working and going to school takes a lot of time and severely limits free time. But a difficult task is not an impossible task. Having drive and dedication above all else will make working students have the best chance to be successful. Well having a drive to complete something is nothing unless students have to have skills developed that support their goals. Students that make weekly to do list don’t miss any assignments and are never late to work or miss class. Students that are dedicated to what they are accomplish do not waste time and are able to push through late nights and early mornings. Having all the dedication and organization in the world will not prevent students from wasting time. With successful implementation of these methods working students will be able to succeed in
