“Hi Hun! What are you up to?” said my mom.
“Not a lot. I’m just watching TV. What about you?” I said.
“Well I’ve been thinking about when you told me you wanted a tattoo, and I think it would be neat if we got one together,” She said.
When She told me this my first thought was to not get one. I wanted my first tattoo to be meaningful and have a lot of thought put into it. Another thing about me, I’m not great about saying no.

I could tell she was nervous, because she kept laughing, which she does when she gets nervous. He gets everything ready and starts going.
“Oh wow, this is nothing like my other tattoos.” She said.
“How so?” He asked.
“Well I can barely feel this, but my other ones hurt like hell.” She said.
“Yeah, people always think your inner wrist is going to be a touchy spot because of that bone, but it’s usually just the opposite for everyone.” He said. He finishes us up and my mom hands him a one-hundred-dollar bill. We both thank him and go back to the house. My mom’s whole side of the family is there just to hang out and see me. I hadn’t seen them all since I was probably nine or ten years old. The first hour after I got the tattoo I was kind of regretting it. I’m not really sure why, because I love it now. Maybe I was just wrapping my head around the fact that what just happened is with me now for the rest of my life. I quickly got over that regret and am more than happy at the fact that I got it. I would like to get another one, but it’d have to be something meaningful if I did. My mother really likes hers and tells everyone about it. I am not that kind of person really, if someone asks me though, then I’m more than happy to explain
