Positive Social Networking
Social network is a network of social interactions and personal relationships. Billions of people use social networks every day. They are a good way for people to connect from all over the world. Many people think that they are bad and that they have no real purpose. Social networks are positive because they are good for advertising, they help news travel fast, and it helps people connect all over the world. There are over a billion social network accounts around the world. The majority of these accounts are on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Many people use social networks to post pictures and videos for their friends to see. Instagram is a form of social media that is specifically made for pictures and videos. People can also express the way they feel just by making a post about it. If someone makes a post about depression, people can make assume that they have depression on their mind. When people see that they can alert someone about it. This is a great way that proves that social media can be helpful. Even though social media can be of good use, some people can turn something good into something very bad. Having social networks also comes with the risk of cyberbullying. Social networks have become a very big part of our everyday lives. Phones and social networks can be used for a variety of reasons, and sometimes those reasons are not always the best. Cyberbullying is a very big problem that people face today. About 25 percent of teenagers have reported that they have experienced repeated bullying by their cell phone, or on the internet (No Bullying). Cyberbullying is the use of technology to bully a person, typically by sending a message of intimidation or a threat. It usually involves people in their teens, because once an adult is involved it may become cyber-harassment or cyberstalking. It is up to the rest of the world to be responsible and use social media in a positive way. People do not realize how amazing it is to have the privilege of social media. Cyberbullies are taking something that has a positive cause and giving it a negative effect. Social networks have allowed for millions of different people come together at one place.
