People have many different descriptions of the nature of human beings. Basically, a human being belongs to the species Homo sapiens, whether a man, woman, or child. The term human being can be described many different ways, taking into account diverse lifestyles and such characteristics as trustworthiness and religious beliefs. For instance, human beings have diverse life styles. For example many human beings live a simple life style. According to the author of the essay “Could you live with less” a simple lifestyle is “lush with comfort and convenience… I have a monastically simple life” (Mills 571). For a simple lifestyle many human beings do not use a lot of technology or do not utilize it at all but, do use what is necessary.As a …show more content…
However there can be other different life styles but, these two are more common in a human being.

Human beings have various characteristics for example trustworthiness... Humans tend to trust others believing that they are doing the right thing. In the essay “In and of Ourselves We Trust” by Andy Rooney points out “…the whole structure of our society depends on mutual trust, not distrust” (Rooney 56). Human beings feel that since they have established laws the laws will be respected. Now many humans do respect but, there are a few who do not respect the laws that are established. Also human beings like to lie to get out of a bad situation. So humans of course believe them that they are telling the truth hence, humans are very trusting. For example in the essay “Hoax” by John Berendt he mentions the story where humans prank or do hoax’s. All those people believe the people who are doing the hoax that they are being truthful to them. Berendt states that s farmer named Newell did a hoax “Newell had erected a tent posted a sign charging a dollar for a glimpse of the giant” (Berendt 365). However after finding out that this was a hoax some still went to the “Giant” just for entertainment.
