Ms. Caldwell Should Be Given To The Qualities Of A Good Teacher

Ms. Caldwell definitely deserves being teacher of the year. If you ask me why I will say many things, for example, math wasn’t a subject I valued until I had Ms. Caldwell for Algebra 1. She always helped us and made sure she answered the questions we had. She would make my classmates and I go early in the mornings to her office so we could explain what we had done wrong and if we didn’t understand the material she would explain the material in detail and say why the answer is right. Her creaticity in the classroom, for example the exercises, kept all of my class engaged the whole time. She always challenged us to do better than before even if we hadn’t had the best math teacher in middle school. She has the patience that many teachers should …show more content…
Caldwell is a person I look up to as a role model because she is so intelligent and because she is so easy to connect with as a student, like relatable. This is because she has always been such a great teacher since the beginning, even though at first I was scared because math hadn’t been a subject I liked. Ms. Caldwell is also a very helpful person for example, a couple days before school starts she is the only teacher that passes out books for the whole …show more content…
Caldwell has been one of the most distinctive teachers I have had and one who has made the most impact on my life. When I grow up I want to be like her full of energy, with a big smile, and very caring. I’m sure she has not only made these impacts in my life but in others as well. Two of the best characteristics Ms. Caldwell are dedication and determination. She shows up every day early in the morning to spend the necessary time providing tutoring for her students, and she ensures that all the students receive the education they need. Some teachers I have known only teach right when there are supervisors in the room but she always has something to engage me. Her lessons are always fun and energetic and at the end I walk out of class knowing what I have learned that day and I’m able to apply it on the test. Ms. Caldwell is always evolving because she is always trying to improve her lessons in order to fit my learning. I remember close to the end of the year when we had our STAAR Test she would give up her Saturdays in order for us to receive tutoring and finish our work with the her

Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 I did my observation of Paul Dunbar Middle School. Some of the first things I noticed when I entered the school was how enormous the school’s population is and how the school was mostly Hispanic and African American students. I arrived at the front desk and was asked by the assistant principal what was my preference of classroom. She then proceeded to take me the section of the school where the ESE classes are held. ESE stands for exceptional student education classes.…

Miller could never wield the power that comes with her job. Like the President she always has a big red button on her desk that could launch nuclear warfare onto each and every individual life within the school, but she doesn't. She is too kind to tell the world how she feels about students, but everybody knows that in order to stay at the very top of Mrs. Kathy Miller’s nice list you must shun the individuals who make her naughty list. This method of teaching should be rewarded because it gives students incentive to fall into line in order to have approval from their peers and every teacher in the state can learn from the incentivized peer pressure that gets Mrs. Miller high ACT scores, stellar AP scores, and the love of every faculty member from every school all across the state of Kentucky. With this great Bluegrass state ranking #47 in education and having terrible pension issues it is important to observe the greatest teacher in the state working her magic while simultaneously inducing the most efficient way of teaching.…

In order to provide this type of environment for my students, I will make my expectations for my classroom clear, and the consequences for going against my expectations equally as clear. The basis of my classroom will be built on mutual respect and trust. I plan on creating this mutual trust and respect by developing close relationships with all of my students. Through these close relationships, I plan on using my students’ interests and strengths to make my classroom and assignments as interesting for my students as possible.…
