The reality of it, is that she has a different plan in mind for what Duncan will endure during this stay than she lets on. She uses her lines of all the cruel things she would to to further convince Macbeth killing Duncan is what he must do for not only their relationship but Scotland. Lady Macbeth gives an insight of her wicked personality when describing the things she would do to succeed: “that tend on moral thoughts, unsex me here” (1.5.40) Lady Macbeth wants to be filled from head to toe with anything that is evil to give her strength to commit to their plan of killing. She is prepared to fill Macbeth’s ear with severe words to convince him to talk action and act like a man her should be. She strives beyond limits to become a more cruel, bitter woman by calling Macbeth anything from a coward to a BLANK and even goes as far as finishing up Duncan’s murder because macbeth is too weak. She never weighs through the possibility during it all that it can have negative consequences on her and Macbeth, she just jumps right into thinking it has to be done.
