Hockey is Canada’s recognized olympic winter sport and also is the greatest contribution to sports all around the world. Canada is considered the homeland of winter hockey, and is known as a canadian and olympic sport. Over the last Canadian generation, men, women and children have played intensely in hockey at different levels and have emotionally watched the sport with tremendous amount of interest in the sport. Canadian players form many teams in the National Hockey League and overseas leagues, and Canadian men and women have had noticeable wins in international competitions in the olympics and etc. Why the name “hockey”? , what or who inspired the game? Secondly, Offside or two-line Pass is When a player passes the puck from his defending zone to a teammate beyond the red center line on the ice. Thirdly, Icing is When a player shoots the puck across the center red line and past the opposing red goal line. For most times, Icing will not be called if the player 's team is slaying a penalty goal, a teammate of the player shooting the puck touches it before a player from the opposing team can get to it, the defending goalie touches the puck first or if the puck travels through the crease on its way to the red line. A team plays shorthanded is when one or more of its players is charged with a penalty shot. After all, while playing no team is persuaded to put on more than two players below full strength which is 6 players at any time on the ice. If a third penalty is called to the same team, it is suspended until the first penalty is over with or shot. When a penalty is called on a goalie, a teammate takes his time in the penalty box on the
