Possible employers would be able to see the quality of work that the unemployed workers are completing which would allow them to evaluate the workers for possible employment. It is not just the people who are unemployed who are affected by this strain, it is their friends, family, and surrounding community also. When the government has to make cuts in government programs to be able to obtain funds to be able to provide unemployment compensation, those programs that have been reduced or cancelled and the people who use those programs lose out. Unemployed people also can cause a decrease in tax revenue, which is how the government normally obtains the funds that are used for the unemployment payments. By requiring people do this type of giving back to the community in exchange for unemployment assistance, will help the individuals instill community pride and reduce the psychological repercussions that unemployment causes into themselves and their community. With the public areas hours being increased, and the closed park locations being reopened, the revenue from the parks and public areas would be able to help pay the unemployment benefits of the individuals who are working there are currently consuming and also offset any additional cost of people needing training. Programs like this have worked in the past when the country was in desperate need. At this time the country is once again in need of government help. However, rather than just giving money to people and not requiring them to earn the funds, by requiring the recipients of the funds from unemployment to give back to the community by helping bring the public areas and parks back into availability for the public to use, everyone in the community
