Personal Narrative: My Interview With A Project Manager

While deciding on the person that I wanted to conduct this interview with, there were a good amount of people that came to mind. This one particular person is my uncle, which has been very lucky to be doing what he loves, a very interesting job which I have always wanted to know more about. During his years within the field, he is now a Project Manager focused on overall planning when dealing with building new buildings and other architecture. He is also responsible in different areas that are focused on designing as well as all the different areas that are involved in being a Project Manager which consists of permits as well as designs and the overall construction process. • Work together with the Property Management team as well as the building owner or the overall owner of the created project.
Besides all the responsibilities that are given to these Project Managers, there is also a good amount of required skills as well as abilities that are needed in order to do your job and most importantly be good at it. Some of those skills and overall requirements that are needed are as followed:
• Need to have at least a Bachelor’s degree focused on Architecture, Construction Management or any other type of field that can be related.
• Must have some sort of certification or professional license that can be presented
• Must have experience when dealing with negotiating as well as understanding how to manage contracts.
• Must understand laws and regulations when dealing with contracting and their permits.
• Have great time management as well as being well organized.
• Needs to be able to multitask
• Strong communication skills
• Be very detailed
• Be able to handle and understand different computer

By having this type of recruiting strategy, it definitely gives the company a great chance to be seen and people know about them and what they are all about. When recruiting like this it allows possible candidates to apply for the position as well as getting information about the job position and overall information that the candidate may need before applying as well as the whole interview process. Of course, there are always some sort of disadvantage when dealing with social advertising which would be the money that can be wasted to be promoted out there. In my personal opinion for the position of a project manager, the best way to go about putting the position available out there is social media such as the internet because it’s the best way to get out there and expose the company at the
