1. Look back at your original project goals from the Define stage. Did your team fully meet your stated goals for the project? Were there some goals that were met more completely than others?
In my group’s virtual city, we met four out of five of our goals. Our first goal where our city would have a futuristic waste management system, our city had a fully functioning recycling center and a large waste disposal. Even though this wasn’t a futuristic or special waste management system, our city had no waste disposal problems whatsoever, thus completing our goal. Our second goal was the only one we didn’t complete. The goal stated that our city would have innovative and advanced technological systems. Restricted by the limits of the Simcity program, we could not create any infrastructures that did not already exist in the present because they weren’t in the game.

The essay could not exceed 1,500 words. This required me to be succinct in my writing and not make it to lengthy. I also had to do background research on existing and future waste management systems and properly cite my research using MLA formula. I also had to apply science and math when figuring out the total electricity the city would have to generate and how much it actually generated.
