There are five principles in which the code of ethics is founded, these include A.) Beneficence and Nonmaleficence, B.) Fidelity and Responsibility, C.) Integrity, D.) Justice, and lastly, E.) Respect for People’s Rights and Dignity (APA, 2002). Each of these APA principles are vital to the ethical administration, analysis and interpretation of all test data collected. Ethical standard 1.0, is important any possible legal or moral conflicts, moreover, any ethical dilemmas that result from corporate demands (APA, 2002). Ethical standard 2.0, addressed the professional standard that only properly qualified individuals work within their competencies, it is vital that underqualified or unqualified individuals do not administer or interpret tests (APA. 2002). Ethical standard 3.10, Informed Consent; it is imperative that the individual be made aware of whom the tests are being collected, additionally, who the individual administrating the test is reporting to (APA, 2002).
