From other research studies, we can see the result that hospice care could enhance cancer patient’ quality of life (Tsubamoto, 2014). Experiment Study method: Randomly choose three different periods of solid cancer patients and into two groups. The experimental group will have hospice care team involved and provide hospice combined care. The control group will receive the regular care without hospice team involved but patients’ family or caregivers will receive care from case management or regular nurses.
Hypothetical constructs: It is more beneficial for the hospice care when it is referred to the time since they diagnosed stage four solid cancer.
Operational definition: Randomly choose of stage four solid cancer patients, categorizing into three different periods of time: the new diagnosis with stage four solid cancer patient verse after chemotherapy and radiotherapy that without improvement with their illness verse the patients in the critical conditions. Randomly single them into two groups. The experimental group will have hospice care team involved and provide hospice combined care. The control group will receive the regular care without hospice team involved but patients’ family or caregivers will receive care from case management and regular nurse to protect their basic right. The participant will not notice they have hospice care team involved during the experiment. Both the experiment group and control group will at under care for six months.
