Have you ever owned property and was concerned about whether or not it was a good thing for you? There are plenty of people who have owned property and never really understood what the real benefits are from owning it. Some people live on their own property so they can choose who trespasses onto their property, some don’t live on their own property but rent it out, while others use the land to their advantage and farm or raise livestock for their own good. When you grow your own food, everything is fresher and has a different taste to it because you can choose to use all the pesticides and chemicals or buy the food from a store which the chemicals had been used. Also by growing your food, you can sell your product and make money from it at a farmers market or wherever you feel would be a great place to grow food. By learning how to use the land, you also learn how to survive in case of emergencies. If there were a famine or something another world war had sprang up, you can save up and store any extra food you may have. So instead of going hungry and dying of starvation, you and your family would have everything you would need. Growing your own food helps you become a healthier and more active person too. If you grew food instead of buying the junk food you can get at stores. And as you start becoming a farmer or cattle worker, your body starts getting more exercise and getting the nutrients and vitamins it needs.
