From the last report we have learned that America has lost about total of 8 million jobs in just 30 years not only is this bad for the American economy, but it also makes America look bad since with less jobs usually tend to crime which cause danger to the citizens of America. Also, another problem with off-shoring jobs to foreign countries would create more jobs for them while not thinking about the working class in the states. An example would be 35 big brand name companies created more jobs in the past two years while America only got a one fourth of these jobs foreign countries got 3/4ths of jobs making many people still jobless. Also With companies that tend to like to outsourcing they do not need to maintain as many facilities in the US and thus they are not taxed and thus the government does not make get money for the services it supplies. also companies that outsource do not need to follow the same production requirements as those of companies staying in the US.

‘The death of distance: Outsourcing, white collar exodus’ film involves many companies moving their call centers and contracts to foreign countries, this is called outsourcing. They particularly look at areas in southern Asia, for example countries like India, Malaysia, etc. This is a lot cheaper for big companies because it allows them to cut their wage salary lower because the quality of living is lower in LEDC’S (less economically developed countries). United States of America is a MEDC (more economically developed country), this means if a lot of companies are outsourcing to south Asian countries this can have a negative impact on globalization of the United States. This is due to outsourcing, and this is because of major companies setting up their call centers in other countries than USA.…

From the business point of view it is important to understand that outsourcing is part of globalization, and it benefits the company’s efficiency and it saves money in labor. Many Americans believe that outsourcings hurt Americans economy and are against the idea of taking Americans jobs to other countries. Bryson, a global economist for Wells Fargo said: “When jobs move from a factory in the South to one in Guatemala or China, it certainly has a negative impact on that community in the short run… But in the long run it makes things more efficient." (Hargreaves, 2012)…

In the last two decades, the hiring of mercenaries and private military and security companies (PMSC’s) in conflict areas has significantly increased. This outsourcing has grown very rapidly with the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, and while prominent global powers such as the US have become more reliant on services provided by private military firms and mercenaries, weak states as well as international governmental organisations have also recurrently outsourced military operations. The use of PMSC’s and mercenaries have resulted in human rights violations that have attracted international attention and debate over how private security must be regulated. Complications have arisen because there are currently no globally accepted norms or legal framework that can be applied to these private firms when human rights violations committed by PSMC employees or mercenaries occur. The delegation of Australia recognizes the impact that the privatization of security has on the contemporary security context, and deems the regulation and…

If U.S. businesses are attempting to reduce costs by substituting machinery for labor or by using foreign labor to produce their products. This would affect American consumer by causing the product the consumers are buying to cost less and there would have been a large amount of the products to meet their demands. Using machines and individuals outside of the country for labor can affect the American workers by causing a large amount of individual to be lay off for their jobs. Also it would be hard for those who are skill in low wage work to be able to find a company that would hirer them. It would also be hard for the workers to be able to feed and take care of their families.…

I think we always joke about how everything is made in China, but that joke becomes more real every day. It is more than a joke and has been a real tragedy that has affected the American economy and American workers. While many agree that offshoring is good for consumers, it also has caused many people to lose their jobs, which likely decreases consumption for those who lost their jobs, which in turn creates an even greater negative effect on our nation’s economy, since less people are spending money. While I love shopping for low prices, I believe corporations have taken it too far in focusing on their bottom line. Businesses mark up products to unbelievable amounts regardless of labor costs, so I am not completely convinced that labor being cheaper makes products cheaper, especially because of all the extra shipping costs to bring the products to the United States to be distributed.…

Outsourcing is just an easy way for big corporations to make billions, while they spend little to get the products they sell. Companies say they outsource to help the less fortunate, but you can’t help the less fortunate when they lost the job they had because the company they worked for went out of business. This creates an unfair competition for the factories in the U.S. because they can’t drop the prices and wages of the employees as low as the third world countries. That are paying their workers pennies a day to do the same work Americans are doing for no less than minimum wage which average in the U.S. is $7.25 an hour. Outsourcing is honestly doing the exact opposite for what this country needs.…

Unemployment in the United States is a serious problem that continues to grow due to a number of reasons. The first major cause is due to job out sourcing overseas, particularly China where the labor costs are extremely low. The next big reason for unemployment in the U.S. is because of the high taxes which rank close to the worst of any country in the world. (A. Krulick, Debt.org)…
