The global media play a vital role in eradicating the global usage of nuclear weapons once and for all. This is because the media represent the public’s voice in informing the big organizations as well as the authority that something is not right. There are many ways that the global media contribute to the elimination of nuclear weapons and one of it is to join the non-governmental (NGOs) in creating awareness to the public. There are many NGOs across the globe that support the nonproliferation and disarmament of nuclear weapons such as Greenpeace International, Human Rights Watch, NGO Committee on Disarmament, Peace and Security and many others. The global media can create awareness to the public by reporting their cause such as petition signing to eradicate nuclear weapons, make public of any reports on how hazardous nuclear weapons can be, remembrance of the effects of chernobyls, Nagasaki, Fukushima, and many others. All of these reporting can increase the public awareness and if more people are joining in the cause as volunteers or even just signing petitions, sooner or later the authority would notice and big organizations would be required to shut down their
