Just in time is usually a management philosophy that originated from Japan, it aims at cutting down the cost through reducing the amount of materials and goods that an organization holds in its stores and warehouses. This technique involve producing and delivering goods just in time to be sold, assembling partly finished goods into finished goods just in time, assembling parts just in time to partly finished goods and assembling materials just in time which are made into parts.
It involves pulling through the production instead of pushing through. This means that goods and services are produced according to customer orders hence the production cycle starts only when the firm receives a customer order.

Advantages of Toyota Production System
 The organization reduces cost of production through elimination of wastes and the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.
 The organization participates in the corporate social responsibility through having an environmental concern by recycling their end products.
 Toyota customers are able to plan and maintain their operations effectively because there is delivery on time of the products and they are of expected standards hence making the organization to have a competitive advantage.
 Toyota Company offers the product of high quality to the customer that’s by adhering to the expected standards of the production cycles.

 The system requires high cost to implement it as it requires training of employees and discontinuation of the existing systems of the firm.

The ISO 14000 is a standard that provide practical tools for firms and different organization to enable it to manage its environmental responsibilities. Nissan company had an earthquake emergency response plan which involve a priority on human life, rapid disaster recovery, and support for neighboring communities and the government at large to ensure smooth operations of the whole community.
The company ensures the standard by sharing information to other regions, it also allocated resources accordingly to meet customer demands. The company also implemented the imploring action so as to ensure that all the affected employees are safe and they asses any damage caused by the earthquake making the company to emphasize the ISO 14000 standards by being responsible for any environmental changes so as to ensure that the welfare of the employees and the community at large is well.
