The major once include coffee Wilt Disease /CWD/, Coffee Berry Disease /CBD/, Coffee Leaf Rust /CLR/ and Coffee insect/pest.(R.J.Clarcand O.G.V. tzlhum p169). These coffee diseases have greatly affected coffee production in Ethiopia. Although the farmers were trained in coffee diseases management by the experts of agricultural and rural development offices they are not exercising their knowledge for it needs to develop awareness and constant follow up and supervisor of expertise. Hence, coffee productions particularly exercised by small scale farmer have frequently attracted by these disease that attributed to the low production of coffee in Ethiopia. 2.2.1 Failure to get governmental attention Lack of designated government institution that gives technically support to the coffee production sector is presumed as a factor that affects coffee production in Ethiopia. Formerly, there was a designated specialized government agency that supported the production and marketing of coffee. This agency has dissolved many years ago leaving the sector with little institutional and technical support from the government.( COFFEE DIVERSITYP 357)
Although government did recently realize the problem and design to set up a specialized institution that can provide technical support to the coffee value chain, the institution has not yet materialized.( COFFEE DIVERSITYP 367) .Thus the problem is still pending and affecting coffee production in the
