After all, Messi decided to play for the Sub-20, Argentinean squad that went to the Sub-20 world cup, in Holland. During this tournament Messi was named, “The most valuable player”, of the tournament. And was also awarded with the, “Golden Boot”, that the turnament gives to the,” MVP”. Furthermore, Messi was selected to play for the, “South American Cup’’, in Venezuela, with the Argentinean national team. During this tournament the Argentineans made it to the final, after defetting Mexico with the final score of 3-0, in the semifinals. Then, at the final they played against their most hateful rival, Brazil, but this time it did no go well for Messi, and the Argentinean national team, because they were defeated and dominated the whole time by the Brazilians, the final score was 3-0. Messi was criticized a lot, because when he was playing with the national team he barley touch the ball and on the other hand, with the club Messi was the play maker the one that saved the game, and score a least one goal per match. Eventhougt, Messi was not playing good soccer with the national team they still reach their goal that was too qualified for the 201o, World cup, which will be held in South Africa. On the other hand, Messi won everything that a player can win at this level, but playing with FC Barcelona. The team won every single cup that stood in their way. First, it was the, “Copa Del Rey”, with a suprising 4-1 score and win over Athletic de Bilbao, FC Barcelona and Messi were in the right path to win it all. Then it was the Spanish first division league, with a historic win over their life time rival Real Madrid fc. FC Barcelona and Messi were one step closer to make history; the final score was 6-2, for Barcelona, with Messi scoring two of them. In order for Barcelona and Messi to make history they had to win the,”UEFA”, Champions league, with and epic win over Chelsea FC in the semifinals, Messi and FC Barcelona advanced to the final, to verse the current champions that were Manchester United FC. During the game Messi played a fantastic game and scoring the winning goal to give Barcelona the third championship
